"Captain America: The Winter Soldier"- Enter 'Sharon Carter'

Sneak Peek the origins of the character 'Agent 13', aka 'Sharon Carter' (Emily VanCamp), appearing in Marvel Studios' upcoming 3D sequel, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

The Marvel Comics' character 'Sharon Carter', was created by writer Stan Lee and illustrators Jack Kirby/Dick Ayers, first appearaing in Marvel's "Tales of Suspense" #75 (March 1966):

"When 'Peggy Carter', the aunt of 'Sharon Carter' returned from World War II she told Sharon about the many adventures she would go on with the 'French Resistance', which inspired Sharon to decide to join 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Given the codename 'Agent 13', her first mission was to retrieve an explosive called 'Inferno-42' from a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who had stolen it from 'T.H.E.M.' After Sharon retrieved the explosive, a mercenary named 'Batroc' was hired to steal it back. 'Captain America'  came in time to help her, and while Captain America and Batroc were fighting each other, she ran off.  After tracking her down, Cap and Sharon became lovers and allies..."
