Despite a temporary shutdown earlier this summer, the DC Comics ultra-violent, live-action TV adaptation "Titans", aka "Freebirds", continues shooting Season 2 in Toronto for producer Michael Wray and Warner Bros Television, streaming on "DC Universe" September 6, 2019, showcasing the following DC Comics characters:
"...'Aqualad' aka 'Garth' (Drew Van Acker) is a founding member of the 'Titans' and an 'Aquaman' sidekick' who was born in 'Atlantis'...
"He was a member of the royal court who was mentored by 'Arthur Curry' to be a protector of life, in and out of the ocean.
"Garth eventually steps out from the shadow of his mentor to become his own hero as a 'Titan'.
"'Ravager' aka 'Rose Wilson' (Chelsea Zhang) is the daughter of the deadly 'Deathstroke' aka 'Slade Wilson' (Esai Morales), forced to undergo the same procedure that granted her father superhuman abilities.
"Ever resentful, she seeks out the Titans not only for their protection but to get back at her father. Knowing how dangerous it is to be the offspring of their deadliest foe, the Titans take her in. But that doesn't necessarily mean they trust her..."
Season 2 cast also includes Chella Man as 'Jericho', Joshua Orpin as 'Conor Kent' and Iain Glen as 'Bruce Wayne'.
