"Jessica Jones" - Krysten Ritter In "Esquire"

"Marvel's Jessica Jones" is the web TV series created for Netflix by Melissa Rosenberg, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name...


...set in the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe' (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, and is the second in a series of shows that will lead up to a "Defenders" crossover miniseries.


Following the former superhero who opens her own detective agency, the series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios and Tall Girls Productions, with Rosenberg serving as showrunner.


January 2016, Netflix renewed "Jessica Jones" for a second season.

'Jessica Campbell Jones Cage' was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and illustrator Michael Gaydos, debuting in Marvel Comics' "Alias" #1 (November 2001) as a former superheroine who became the owner and sole employee of 'Alias Private Investigations'.


After coming into contact with experimental chemicals and spending some time in a coma, Jessica emerged with powerful abailities including superhuman strength.
