"Batwoman" - Bat Lives Matter

Take a look at more leaked set images of Javicia Leslie as 'Ryan Wilder', the new Season 2 'Batwoman', currently shooting in downtown Vancouver for a January 17, 2021 premiere on The CW:

Leslie replaces Ruby Rose, who left the show May 2020 after shooting one season and various 'cross-over' guest star roles.

"I am extremely proud to be the first Black actress to play the iconic role of Batwoman on television," said Leslie.

 

Leslie previously starred in CBS' "God Friended Me". Her other credits include BET's "The Family Business" and the 2019 rom-com "Always a Bridesmaid".

"...'Ryan Wilder', is a female, mid-late 20's, any ethnicity and is about to become 'Batwoman'. 

"She’s likable, messy, a little goofy and untamed. She's also nothing like 'Kate Kane', the woman who wore the 'batsuit' before her..."
